Edit a Chat Message

Edit your chat messages after sending if needed.

Everyone can edit their own messages.

Find the message you want to edit and hover over it (or hold your finger on it on mobile). Click the dot menu > Edit, and the message appears in the input field. Make your changes and press the send icon to save, or click the X to cancel. Edited messages show that they have been changed, but previous versions are not visible.
