Troubleshooting: The Planday Integration Isn't Working
You need administrator access or higher to complete this guide
Common causes and solutions
Employees are not imported from Planday
First check that the integration is active. Go to Integrations > Planday and check that the status shows Connected. If the status shows Disconnected or there is an error message, try connecting again by clicking Connect to Planday and following the instructions.
Is the integration active but employees are missing? Check that the employees you expect to see are actually active in Planday and belong to the right department. Only employees who are active in Planday are imported to Runwell.
The employee list is out of date
Syncing happens automatically, but it can take up to 24 hours. To start a manual sync now, go to Integrations > Planday and click Sync now.
Changes in Planday don't show up in Runwell
Runwell mirrors basic information from Planday: name, position and department. Changes to these fields in Planday show up in Runwell at the next sync. Other data (such as shifts and schedules) is not synced. The integration only imports the employee list.
Error message when connecting
If you see an error message when you try to connect, your Planday account may not have sufficient permissions. API access must be enabled in Planday for the integration to work. Contact your Planday administrator to enable it.
Still having problems?
If none of the solutions above help, contact Runwell support through the chat in the app. Tell us which error message you see and what you have already tried.
